One of the most useful tools in my opinion is the ability to reflect. Taking the time to look back on your lesson and reflect on what worked and what didn’t can help you to improve that lesson or unit for the future. Assessments are also a good tool to have in order to help improve student learning in the classroom. Being able to create and implement effective assessments helps to keep track of student progress as well. I went through the process of having to create multiple assessments and actually being able to put them to use was a great way to see what worked and what I needed to change for the next time. In this section you will see some examples of assessments I have created, as well as different examples of student success.
